In accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines, the regulations regarding the transportation of power banks on flights.
Power banks are prohibited in checked baggage due to the risk of lithium battery overheating, and must be carried-on baggage only.
Allowed power bank capacities:
- Up to 100 Wh (20,000 mAh): Maximum 20 units per passenger.
- Between 100 Wh (20,000 mAh) and 160 Wh (32,000 mAh): Maximum 2 units per passenger.
- Over 160 Wh (32,000 mAh): Strictly prohibited on flights.
All delegates traveling, especially on TG (Thai Airways) flights, are strictly NOT allowed to use or charge power banks during the entire flight to ensure safety
Effective May 1, 2025, all foreign nationals traveling to Thailand are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) prior to their entry into the country.
This new requirement will replace the existing TM6 form. Travelers must complete the online registration within 3 days before their departure, providing personal information, travel itinerary, passport details, and accommodation information.
